A member asked:

What does slightly-below normal levels of igg proteins in the cns indicate?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe nothing: Igg levels in CSF are a reflection of igg levels in the CNS (fluid and tissue, respectively). What does "slightly" mean. Could it be a small difference compatible with lab measurement error? Or it might mean an immune system abnormality (suppressed or decreased function).
