Depends: As long as the allergen is present... Then you will have allergies and allergy symptoms.

Until treated or....: Allergy is an inflammatory response to a substance (the allergen). When it is eliminated, problem over soon. To block the effect of the allergen, an antihistamine is suggested which will work quickly as well. Drops work on the eyes better than pill form.
