Activity: If you compressed nerves, blood vessels, or both during sleep, you will get rapid return to normal simply by movement - flexion & range of motion. If you create this impingement nearly every night, you may begin to develop chronic pain that doesn't quickly resolve in the am. Promote a more anatomic sleep position with pillows behind and in front of you while sleeping on your side.
