Smoking: Smoking is never recommended but it is not contraindicated if you are taking wellbutrin (bupropion) sr. I would recommend no smoking.

Another point . . : Wellbutrin (bupropion) is also marketed as zyban for smoking cessation. Nicotine increases norepinephrine (ne) & Dopamine (da is associated with pleasurable feelings). Zyban may work b/c it also increases ne & da. Nicotine also increases epinephrine, serotonin & acetylcholine. All of these neurotransmitter effects make nicotine addiction hard to kick. If on wellbutrin, (bupropion) good opportunity to try quitting!
