Consistency: I will preface by saying i'm glad i don't live in your house. First, a calm, consistent bed time routine. Put them to bed while almost asleep but still awake, and allow them to fall asleep on their own. Let them fuss and cry a few minutes, comfort, put down, and leave. After a period of time, they will sleep. Even if it takes a few days. Consistently using the crib as the sleep place works.

Be consistent: Have a stable bedtime preceded by reading, prayers and other soothing rituals (not stimulants like tv, video games or active play). Set expectations that the child will fall asleep in his own bed. Explain that, if he gets out of bed, you'll walk him back in from behind without talking or making eye contact. He'll test you by getting worse before he gets better, but stick to it till he complies.
