Constip/diverticular: Pain in the left lower quadrant could represent constipation or possibly diverticular disease. You should have it properly evaluated especially if you are over 40 years old.

And pain : Non specific Pain is difficult to evaluate. The appendix does not normally reside in the left lower quadrant so issues with uro-gynecological diseases will be ruled out.. In addition bowel problems like chron's ,Ibd, diverticulitis, constipation will be ruled out. Do not be surprised if tests like ultrasound, ct scan barium enemas, or colonoscopy are recommended.
