A member asked:

How likely is relapse for burkitts lymphoma?

2 doctors weighed in across 2 answers

Highly likely: The problem with burkitts is that it is very hard to get through the intensive treatment and many times the disease grows during treatment. If the person is in remission at the end of treatment, many times more intensive chemotherapy in the form of stem cell transplant is offered to increase the chances of curing the disease.
