Can come and go: Widsom teeth pain is pretty easy for a dentist to diagnose. Sometimes a wisdom tooth can be infected just like any other tooth and the pain is the same. But the "eruption" pain of a wisdom tooth feels more like pressure in the area of the wisdom tooth or exerted on the teeth in front of the wisdom tooth.

Hard to tell: For you it might be hard to tell unless ou have had a recent exam that showed you have no tooth cavities then if all of a sudden you have pain could be wisdom teeth. Also the location the lower wisdom teeth are deep in the back so pain can radiate to ears and throat. The quality of pain itself is not different than any tooth ache. See a dentist please.
