Not necessarily: If all you had was one positive lupus antibody test, then that is not an indication for treatment with warfarin. Need more informatio: There are a lot more details that we need. Hey positive antinuclear body by itself does not require lifelong warfarin. I suspect this advice was given because of other findings. Your rheumatologist should be able to help clarify this advice.
