Why do girls have a period long before ready for a baby?

Normal maturity: Whenever a girl reaches maturity, she starts ovulating - if the egg does not fertilize with a sperm to make a baby, the hormonal environment changes and you shed your thickened endometrium (that was prepapred to receive a pregnancy if that occurred). And the whole cycle starts again the following month.
