What's the purpose of having bad eyesight without fixing it?

Visual blur: If you eyesight is bad, and the reason is uncorrected vision which eyeglasses can correct, then this is a matter of your tolerance for poor eyesight and perhaps the cost of examination and glasses. There is no "purpose" in having bad eyesight.
