A member asked:

Is there anything that actually helps improve bad eyesight?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends on the cause: Sometimes glasses or contact lenses or refractive surgery can help a refractive error. If there is more serious pathology, another treatment may be necessary. Some diseases are not treatable and some damage can permanently cause poor vision.
