Blood flow...: A heart attack happens when there is no blood flow to a portion of the heart muscle. If not treated in time, this portion of the heart will die and will no longer be able to contract. So, if someone has symptoms of a heart attack, they should go immediately to an emergency room so treatment can be rendered.
