On your side.: As the pregnancy progresses, the shear size of the womb and fetus will dictate the most comfortable sleep position for you: on your side with some pillow support between your knees. You cannot sleep on your stomach (even if you tried) and should not sleep flat on your back in the third trimester to avoid blocking the venous return to your heart from your lower body.
