Dental check up: You will need to see your dentist or physician to see what is causing them ie medication, herpetic virus, sun, stress, radiation treatment, chemotherapy. You will have to eat bland food. Dentist or physician can prescribe viscous Lidocaine oral rinse to make eating les painful. Dental lasers can make healing faster.

Apthous ulcers: Apthous ulcers (or canker sores) are commonly triggered by high acid foods and mouth irritantants, but sometimes they seem to happen for no reason at all. Their cause is not well understood. Cortisone pastes and creams designed to cling to the inside of the mouth can help them heal faster. These ulcers are thought to be a type of abnormal immune reaction. If they occur frequently, see your doctor.

Good question, which: Warrants you seeing your dentist or an oral surgeon for an evaluation. There are many different types of mouth ulcers, all with different causes, and all with different remedies. Make sure you are seen when you actually have one of those ulcers clearly visible for an accurate diagnosis.

Mouth ulcers: You can eat lots of cold things like ice cream and popsicles. In addition you can ask your physician for a viscous local anesthetic and swish it through your mouth as necessary. The ulcers are probably viral in origin.
