A member asked:

What do doctors normally use for nerve conductor test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needles: Stimulating needles are usually coated in teflon or other non-ducting materials except at the tip, to deliver electricity to the nerve target. Recording electrodes may be surface disks or other needle electrodes. Either way, you're going to get poked.
