Not accurate enough: Early diagnosis is of ovarian cancer is essetial for cure, the silent killer of woman. But it is useful in identifying the nature of pelvic mass , and possible to detect ovarian cancer, moot point can it detect it early, national alliance on ovarian cancer recommends it. Other useful blood tests ca 125 , new ova 1 may not detect all early ovarian cancers.

Ovarian cancer: It is not accurate at all. There is not a screening test. If a mass is found, there are tests that can help determine whether you should stay with a gyn or be referred to a gyn oncologist for surgery.
