A member asked:

A pin that was left in a new shirt penetrated my skin? will i get infected with something?

Unlikely: It is uncommon to get infected with a solid needle. Most needle infections are from hollow needles and/or visibly soiled. That is still less common than thought in the general public. However, you should still clean the puncture site with soap, water, and alcohol.
