Seek treatment: Hypothyroidism as a diagnosis has few implications if it is treated, and for most people, treatment is relatively easy: a thyroid hormone supplement. If you have hypothyroidism make sure you have it properly worked up by your primary md, and take any medications as prescribed. If you do, your diagnosis shouldn't affect your COPD or any other problems. Best wishes!

Not really related: Each condition has their own symptoms and signs, but sometimes they are similar. For instance, people with COPD and hypothyroid can both have fatigue.
