Returning symptoms: 2 common reasons for returning symptoms: 1) antibiotics did not work (because it was not an infection, or it was an infection that was resistant to those drugs) 2) the antibiotics worked, but you were re-exposed to the infection. In either case, the key is a diagnosis. Make sure a culture was done to find a cause & cure. If the treatment matches the cause, then you were likely re-exposed! b safe!
