Too dry?: You may be more prone to tears if you are not adequately lubricated for penetration to occur comfortably. This can occur because you have not had time to get fully aroused or if your estrogen levels are declining (which occurs just prior to and during menopause.) you could try using a lubricant like KY jelly. If you have persistent pain or bleeding, see your doctor.
