Most likely cystitis: The most likely cause of this in a young adult female is a bladder infection or cystitis. It could perhaps be--less likely--a yeast infection. There are other causes drink a lot of fluids (yes, 8 glasses per day), including cranberry juice. If does not completely clear up within a week, see family practitioner. Also, if never saw a gynecologist, 18 years old is a good time to start.
