Asbestosis: Asbestos exposure can cause changes similar to COPD and worse. In that case, it is called asbestosis.

Probably not: Asbestos typically causes, pleural plaques, mesothelioma and other lung cancers. Usually COPD is not a manifestation of asbestos exposure. COPD is associated with smoking however.

Yes: Yes, get yourself checked! smoking is the usual cause for copd, and you are quite young to have COPD but occupational exposures can also do it. Good luck!
