No: COPD (emphysema/chronic bronchitis) is not a communicable disease. It usually occurs in past or current smokers and can sometimes have a genetic predisposition (ie patients with Alpha one antitrypsin deficiency). One patient cannot typically give another patient the disease by cough, touch, kissing, etc.

No: COPD is a chronic disease of the airways usually brought on by smoking. It is not contagious. It can be manged with medications and greatly improved if the patient stops smoking.

No, it is not: COPD is not contagious at all. It is damage to the lung from smoking. You can't "catch" copd. If you smoke or inhale smoke, you can possibly get copd, though.
