The latest ct scan on my neck has shown arthritis in the neck joints. i have very tender scalp and an irritating painfrom the back of head to the crown area and i have diziness. what could be the reason?

Need more infor: I would try to find an etiology for the dizziness it could be related to circulation or a multitude of other reasons. I would start with you internet - you might need a neurology eval. For the arthritis in your neck, id consider an nsaid med you might also benefit from some physical therapy on you neck.

Follow up with your : Dr. Arthritis of the spine/ ddd/ degenerative disc disease is fairly common as we age. It's not serious and won't shorten our life span. The other symptoms could be signs of pinched nerve, muscle strain, uncontrolled hypertension or stress related among other things. Only your dr can reassure you of all your complaints. Hope you feel better!
