Anger and panic: Yes, I have seen panic attacks triggered by anger rather than fear. The phobia and anxiety workbook by bourne is an excellent resource for understanding panic in general, and for ideas on how to avoid it. Another good book is overcoming anxiety.

Yes it can: Anger can trigger anxiety & panic, especially in contexts where feeling intense anger might not be perceived as "safe." in these situations anger can be swiftly followed by fear. Getting involved in psychotherapy helps one become more aware of situations which trigger these feelings, so as to take care of them before things feel overwhelming. This is part of what medication alone cannot replace.
