No: Weight gain should be three times birth weight by the time baby is one year old. And then increase at a slower rate. However premies and lbw babies tend to gain more weight in first year. Either way, your baby is not gaining weight the way she is supposed to be. See her pediatrician. She needs work up to investigate.
