I am having severe vaginal burning on the outside what does this mean? could this indicate hiv or herpes?

Possible Infection: Burning would typically be associated with some form of infection. HIV would be less likely to cause burning. Herpes and other bacterial or yeast infection are possible. Blisters or other sores would typical be present with herpes. A physical exam is necessary and appropriate cultures and possibly blood tests are needed. Please use condoms so these issues do not keep occurring.
