I have pain in my knees on a daily basis.....i don't want opiates so i take excedrin! is this safe?

History needed.: I thought Excedrin is not on the shelf anymore. You need an antiinfalmatory medication, prefer gel or topical solution like voltaren gel. If doesn't help you may need xrays done. We need more history about your age, condition of your joints, swollen and red or hot or not. Try topicals and Aleve (naproxen) for a week, if not better see a doctor.

Sure,: As long as your medical history offers no contarindications and you don't exceed the recommended dose. Too much Acetaminophen can cause serious liver toxicity. If you have prolonged pain issues, you should probably have them evaluated by a physician.
