HVAC...: ...Air conditioners often have filters. Also, office buildings rarely have carpets or cloth-upholstered furniture which collect dust.

Air conditioning: If you are allergic to allergens that are primarily outdoor allergens , then the heating/ac in the office may keep those allergens out. You could also be allergic to something that isn't'present in the office environment.
