Probably not: The urine pregnancy test is now so sensitive that in normal pregnancies it will be positive even before the missed period. So if you are doing the test correctly, a negative result when your period is late does say you are not pregnant. It is possible you had a fertilized ovum that failed to develop normally, or your period could be irregular for other reasons.
