Preventative is key!: As i tell my patients, being pro-active and focus on prevention is keys to a healthy mouth as well as improved overall health. Brushing regularly at least twice a day coincided withed flossing daily will help maintain the health of your teeth. Routine check-ups with your dentist (every 6 months) will not only help with your health, but catch pathology's early so it's not as painful or costly.

Good oral hygiene: It's really quite simple...Keep your teeth, gums and tongue clean and you are likely to have a very healthy mouth. Don't smoke, or use smokeless tobacco, and do see your dentist at least every 6 months. You should be brushing after every meal (even snacks) and flossing once per day. Most people who have big mouth problems don't do these simple things. Good luck!

Be smart: Brushing and flossing at least twice daily is one of the best things you can do for your oral health. A healthy diet, visiting the dentist twice a year and fixing small problems early help keep your dental problems to a minimum.

Home & Professional : The best tips i can give you for healthy teeth and mouth are to have at least two professional exams and cleaning yearly (more if needed), brush 3x daily for 2 minutes each time, floss daily, rinse with an antiseptic mouthwash 2x daily for 30 seconds each time and avoid sweets! finally, if you do have a problem, get it fixed while it's small and easy to treat!
