Fallopian tube: It is possible to have blocked tubes and still have regular periods. There are tests that can be done to check for blockage. Speak with your doctor.

Blocked tube: Just as if someone had a tubal ligation, the ovaries still work to cause the menstrual cycle in the uterus, while the fallopian tube is essentially blocked.

YES: If the fallopian tubs are open they allow the egg to drop from the ovary to the uterus. If blocked the egg will not go from ovary to uterus normally. Your period would be the same with or without a functional fallopian tube. The ovary produces hormones in a cycle, the uterus responds to the cycle. One or both fallopian tubes will only affect the likelihood of a normal pregnancy, not hormones.
