Bleeding: Blood in your vomit is very concerning and this is something that warrants thorough evaluation by your doctor asap. The blood could be coming from anywhere - your esophagus, your stomach, your small intestine. Your primary doctor will likely send you to gastroenterologist who will do an endoscopy. In the meantime, avoid things like Ibuprofen and aspirin, which could make the bleeding worse.

Diseases such as gastric or duodenal ulcer, inflammation of esophagus, tear of stomach and esophagus junction or distended esophageal veins are to name a few endoscopy is a test of choic.
