Blood: If you can tell for sure that fresh blood is coming from your mouth and not your stomach, bronchial tubes or lungs, then a careful examination of your mouth and back of your nose by an Otolaryngologist is advisable. A dentist can determine whether you have gum disease as a cause. If you have black bowel movements, bleeding from the upper digestible tract is likely.
