Most: Most of the available anti reflux meds, don't raise bp, don't interact significantly with BP meds. 18 is pretty young to have high bp, and severe acid reflux. Overweight? Treat that problem and you will get improvement in your reflux and bp-may not disappear, but will be easier to manage.

Treatment for GERD: Reflux medications usually do not increase blood pressure. Medications range from antacid to more potent class of drugs such as ppi (proton pump inhibitors). Recently ppi has been linked to osteoporosis (chronic use), increased risk of pneumonia and c dificille infection. Depends on severity of reflux one can start either top down approach(trial of ppi) or step up approach( diet and antiacids).
