A member asked:

Are home fertility tests like 1st response accurate with telling your fertility? also are the results something that should be rechecked monthly?

Mixed Answer: Lh predictor kits measure the lh surge, not ovulation per se. If you have a good lh surge, your chance of ovulation is about 95%. There are problems though. Faint positives represent less robust surges, often seen with Clomid (clomiphene) and are not very useful in this case. Remember ovulation comes ~ 24 hours after the peak of the surge. These kits cause stress. Sex ev other day, days 10 - 17 covers it.
