Some thoughts...: If this has come on recently, it could be a viral illness that's causing the stomach discomfort along with diarrhea. These usually last for about a week and get better on their own. I'd see your doctor if you're having fevers > 3 days, increasing pain, bloody diarrhea, severe nausea or vomiting, or this isn't improving after about a week. Hope you feel better soon!
