Ok blood sugar: This is 3-month average of extra sugar floating around in the blood that adheres to the hemoglobin as an indicator of your diabetes. The goal is less than 7 for diabetics, but in nondiabetics is less than 6. A result of 6.48 is ok, but still indicates to me that blood sugar is higher than ideal for the long term to avoid longer term complications of high blood sugar.
