See your doctor: An odor might mean that there's a bacterial infection. If it's in the same exact spot each time, particularly if there are small pimples or blisters that open and form little scabs, it could be herpes.

Smelly rash: Sounds like a condition called intertrigo, but it may also be fungal. First, keep the are clean and dry! if you tend to sweat a lot the dry part is very important. If it persists your dermatologist can prescribe topical medications to control it.
