Elmiron (pentosan) and atarax: Diet is the mainstay. You can have bladder treatments with Lidocaine and heparin, Elmiron (pentosan) could be used in the second an third trimester as well as atarax.

Talk to OB: Most medications for ic need to be stopped during pregnancy, however some are safe such as nonalkalized anesthesics for instillation, some of the antispasms drugs, and some supplements. Talk to your ob.
