A member asked:

Swollen tounge, floating stools, slightly swollen hands and feet, occasional joint pains...what do theses symptoms mean?

Inflammation: Swollen tongue, hands and feet could be angioedema--all the symptoms you name could come from a food allergy, and that is one thing you would want to rule out before looking for more chronic and insidious diseases, because the treatment is so straightforward--don't eat the food. There are many other possible causes, however. Starting with an allergist would be a logical choice, though.

That you should : Be in your doctors office instead of online. There are a few different possibilities here and an in person exam with your internist really is the best answer.
