Brush/floss: Brushing, flossing and mouthwash twice daily and semiannual dental visits should do the trick.

Some thoughts... : Generally... Flossing two times per day, using an oral irrigator such as hydrofloss or water pik, brushing 2 t o 3 times per day with a sonicare or oral b electric toothbrush and seeing your dentist every 6 months for an exam, bitewing x-rays and cleaning will keep you teeth & gums in good order health-wise. For a nice white appearance ask a dentist about professional in-office whitening.

Toothbrushing Advice: Two times during the day that is very important to brush and floss your teeth. The most important time is before you go to bed. Our mouths act as incubators for bacteria during the night, giving us cavities and bad breath in the morning. The other time is first thing when you wake up. It gets rid of all the bacteria that grew during the night. More than that can cause toothbrush abrassion.

Brush and floss: Daily brushing ( 3 times) and flossing at least once a day will help to avoid cavities. A healthy diet will also be helpful.

Daily care & fix : The ideal oral hygiene regimen would be to brush 3x daily for 2 minutes each time with a Fluoride tooth paste, floss once daily and rinse with an antiseptic or Fluoride rinse twice daily for 30 seconds each time! add to that two professional cleanings/exam per year and you're set. If something does come up, it is easy to find and to restore!

See your Dentist: The only way to get rid of decay is to see your dentist. Many Fluoride preparations can slow the process, but once the decay gets to a certain point, it can only be physically removed by a dentist. Some surface decay can be reversed with the help of your dentist, but no otc products can do what your dentist can.
