Depends: Usuallly the first couple of years in some pts the irregular period may be longer than others.If she has been on period this time for 3 weeks , was it very heavy or just spotting.If it is heavy then she needs to see doctor asap, but she has only little spotting, i would wait for few more days then bring her in to see doctor.Bleeding too long is not safe
