Hard question: That's a hard question. It depends on what type of cancer, the location, the severity (stage), and if it's spread. Treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation but any number of these may be used. Other very important steps include proper diet, exercise (don't have to run a marathon), control of other medical conditions, social support, and a positive attitude.
