I would suggest a sleep study prior to having an oral appliance made to rule out sleep apnea.

Snor guard: Get a snore guard appliance at the dentist. My favorite is the tap elite , but there are others. See your dentist. Be aware that you may have issues with sleep apnea as well.

Be sure to get checked out for obstructive sleep apnea first. Everyone who has sleep apnea snores. If you effectively treat snoring with an appliance, you may mask continued apnea.
