Contact your MD: It is beyond the scope of this service to diagnose the cause of your "excess salivation" however I am not familiar with it being related to diabetes. At times poorly fitting dentures, certain medications or other oral and systemic conditions can cause a stomatitis and result in excess saliva. I believe it would be in your best interest to see your md for a comprehensive evaluation.
