Irregular periods: If that is common for you then you should be evaluated for abnormal bleeding. There are various hormonal and anatomical reasons for that. If you normally have very regular periods and this is unusual for you, it is reasonable to see if it happens again. It is normal for women to have 1 or 2 cycles per year that do not come regularly.
