A member asked:

Does your bbt rise on your period?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Usually not: Basal body temperature is lower before ovulation and rises after ovulation. The temperature stays at the higher level for about 2 weeks and then drops back down during the menstrual period. Of course, there will be some women who don't follow this pattern exactly.
