Yes.: Prolactin is secreted by the pituitary under the inhibitory control of dopamine. Prolactin levels will be unaffected by hysterectomy.

Yes you can: Prolactin comes from the pituitary gland, quite separate from the uterus. Indeed, even guys sometimes make it, when properly stimulated. Symptoms of elevated prolactin include a clear-to-milky discharge from the nipples (galactorhea). This most commonly comes from a tumor in the pituitary gland but is also a normal part of pregnancy.
